HP on the Ave

May 2, 2012

Last year I was lucky enough to be part of a few Handmade Promenade events in Indy put on by the one, the only, Sunday Afternoon Housewife (Record Store Day and HP on the Ave). This year, many things keep me home during these sometimes humid, sometimes rainy spring days, but just because I’m not there, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be!

This year my dear friends Jessica and Elizabeth from Opposite of Far and Curly Pigtails respectively, will be sharing the cutest space in the world in the green space next to the Dean Johnson Gallery at 646 Mass. Ave. If you don’t believe me, you really should just go and see for yourself.

Alongside these cuties you’ll also be able to find Megan Martin of Spice of Life Designs and get your last minute BEAUTIFUL Mother’s Day gifts! Or, if jewelry ain’t your mother’s thing, try Shan and Jarrod over at Green Illuminations because every mother (especially including myself) enjoys the scent of a great candle.

And of course, as always you’ll be able to find Martha peddling scrabble tile pendants as Sunday Afternoon Housewife and Indie Loves Indy t-shirts (and more) and Rachel with Dolores in her Bebito tent. You won’t want to miss them!

Please, take advantage of this Friday Friday down on Mass Ave and visit these artists. They are some of the best people I’ve ever met and continue to meet in my life. Tell them I say hello from my little corner in Bloomington.
